Dr. Wahl believes people are inherently valuable and are designed to have meaningful and satisfying lives.  His therapy office exists to help people find meaning and satisfaction as they develop new understandings of themselves and others in the process of healing and change.  

As a professional therapist, Dr. Wahl is committed to helping people create hope in their lives.  Through thoughtful listening and compassion, he strives to help clients understand their selves and develop new strategies so unhealthy patterns can be changed.  Often, the work is aimed at developing freedom from unhelpful ways of thinking, perceiving, feeling, acting, and relating.  This freedom allows clients to have new ways to choose to live.

Dr. Wahl understands it is important for individuals to have their values honored when in counseling. Dr. Wahl is committed to helping clients create a personal path of growth and healing which is consistent with their life perspective. About Dr. Wahl

Dr. Wahl has been providing psychological services in private practice since 2009. Prior to private practice he was an intern, resident and then licensed psychologist for a non-profit that served individuals with dual diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and developmental disorders over the span of 4 years  Dr. Wahl received his Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology in May 2005 from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University.  Biola University is located in La Mirada, CA. In 2001 he received a MA in Clinical Psychology from Biola University.  In addition to clinical coursework, Dr. Wahl's graduate education included study of the integration of Christian Theology and Psychology.
